The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala has announced the start of registration procedures for social welfare students eligible for the grant for the 2025–2026 academic year. This comes in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency aimed at supporting low-income groups and enabling them to continue their academic journey.

The college confirmed that the registration process will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Social Welfare Directorate, to ensure that all eligible students are included and that their academic procedures are facilitated.

The college further explained that this step is part of the university’s policy to promote educational equity and provide academic and social support for students, ensuring a fair and encouraging learning environment.
