The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a scientific symposium titled “Women’s Response to the Counter-Media Discourse” at ten o’clock on Sunday, 4/12/2022. And on the hall of Imam Hussein (pbuh) in the college.

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organizes a scientific symposium on women’s response to the counter-media discourse.

Assistant Professor Dr. Taghreed Abd al-Amir lectured at the teaching symposium in the department, and Professor Dr. Amjad Hamid Abdullah participated with her, as they talked about the methods of formulating discourse and women’s response to it, in addition to the tools through which discourse can be found and formulated to deter trends with counter ideas that would influence the media. And intellectually on the minds of women, they also touched on professional communication practices to confront counter-discourse and its most important forms through alternative discourse and deter counter-discourse.

At the end of the symposium, interventions and discussions took place on the topics raised, which enriched this symposium and deepened its content among the students who are the primary destination of this symposium.
