Master’s Thesis Comparing Authentication and Weakening Principles of Sayyid al-Khoei and Sayyid Mohammad Reza Sistani at the College of Islamic Sciences

Master’s Thesis: Comparative Analysis of Authentication and Weakening Principles between Sayyid al-Khoei and Sayyid Mohammad Reza Sistani at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala.

The thesis aims to review the key methodologies and principles used in authentication and weakening, examining the foundations of these concepts in the teachings of the religious leaders Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei and his disciple Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Reza Sistani. The research involves a comparative study, highlighting differences in authentication and weakening resulting from the distinct approaches of the two scholars.

Recommendations include enhancing the study of Hadith sciences by establishing dedicated departments in Islamic science colleges. Additionally, emphasis is placed on scholarly research on narrators and the modern and contemporary perspectives, particularly focusing on the scholarly work of Sayyid al-Khoei and the Sistani school in Najaf.
