Dr. Mawahib Saleh Mahdi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in organizing an international course organized by the Scientific Faculty of Theology and Religions at University of Beheshti.
The course included a series of seminars on ethics, where Dr. Mawahib contributed with a seminar on “Ethical Anthropology in the Holy Quran.” The seminars focused on two main axes: the definition of anthropological science, which studies human behavior in society, and the Quran’s presentation of the behaviors of communities and nations. This involved describing, classifying, critiquing, and analyzing human behavior, comparing behaviors across different times and among individuals in their ethical conduct.
The seminar concluded with an important finding: the Holy Quran presents incorrect human behaviors and methods to correct them, highlighting divine role models and their influence in transforming societies.
