Islamic Sciences Faculty Member at the University of Karbala Authors a Book on Lessons in Principles of Jurisprudence

Dr. Dhargham Kareem Al-Mousawi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, has recently published a book titled “Lessons in Principles of Jurisprudence: Second Round in Questions and Answers.” The book was published by Al-Thaqalayn Foundation in Qom, Iran, and printed by Ashoura Printing House.

The book spans 795 pages divided into six chapters:

  1. Introduction
  2. Terms
  3. Legal Evidence
  4. Rational Evidence
  5. Practical Principles
  6. Contradiction

The aim of the book is to reframe the teachings of Usul al-Fiqh based on the question-and-answer format, following the approach of Sayyid Mohammad Baqir al-Sadr. It includes exercises, conceptual diagrams for topics, and clarifications of various terms and concepts. The book is distinguished by its question-and-answer style, presenting foundational issues in the form of questions with provided answers, supplemented by diagrams to facilitate understanding of the material.
