The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, in collaboration with the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala, held an educational seminar titled “Women Between Freedom and Responsibility: Insights from the Life of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her).” The seminar was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Hussein Al-Ashtar and Assistant Lecturer Nawal Hassan.
The seminar aimed to highlight the life of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH), underscoring the importance of women drawing inspiration from her exemplary character. It focused on balancing freedom and responsibility and how women can harmonize these values.
In conclusion, a set of recommendations was made, encouraging women to adopt al-Zahra’s example as a role model, recognizing that women are fundamental pillars of society.
