Abstract

Since the request for interpretation of the Quran is obligatory, it is necessary to clarify the resources and sciences from which the science of exegesis is derived.
The scholars have made it clear that whoever wants to interpret the Quran must be familiar with various sciences that help delve into the interpretation of the Quran, and even made them conditions that must be met by the Interpreter.
The science of etymology is the instrument and tool that everyone who wants to interpret the Book of God Almighty must be equipped with, for it is a science that assists in interpreting the Quran.
The etymology of jurisprudence is a tool that the Interpreter uses to elicit meanings from the Quran. Because it controls the rules of deduction and discloses them, rather it is one of the greatest ways of extracting the verdicts from the verses.
The usefulness of the etymology of jurisprudence is general, it is related to all the sciences that are related to the text and the pronunciation. It is not specialized in the science of jurisprudence, it is in fact the science of understanding and to elicit from the text, and from here the science of jurisprudence is one of the introductions of interpretation and tools of the interpreter.
Therefore, we can say that etymology is an introduction to the understanding and interpretation of the Noble Qur’an, and that all its rules conditions are among the rules and conditions of interpretation.
The thesis was entitled (Using the Fundamental Rules of etymology in Understanding the Qur’anic Text according to the Imamiyyah – Presentation and

Analysis), to focus on this role that etymology plays in understanding the Qur’anic text, and to explain how to employ the fundamental rules for the Interpreters in revealing the will of Allah the Almighty.
The aim of the research was to analyze the texts of the interpreters in order to clarify the sciences that were employed in the interpretation, including the science of jurisprudence, with an explanation of the fundamental rules that were employed for this purpose to research it theorizing through the books of the principles of jurisprudence. In addition to demonstrating the flexibility of etymology and the ability to benefit from it in all sciences, especially the science of interpretation.
