Abstract
This study, which is tagged ((the directives of reading in the Qur’anic text – a study in receiving Surat Al-Kawthar between the ancients and the modernists)) is based on a simple postulate, which means: How to understand the work of the textual directives surrounding the Qur’anic connotation when reading and understanding the study took it upon itself to examine those multiple readings that emerged from referring the word (Al-Kawthar) in this surah to each of the interpreter – the sample of the lesson – and based on the culture of the interpreter and his doctrine, which had the largest role in investing the external directives represented by (the meaning of the text, the place of descentThis study was divided into three chapters, the first of which was entrusted with the task of introducing Surat Al-Kawthar by revealing everything related to it in order to familiarise it, because this task is the first task of receiving, while the second chapter dealt with the reading directions of the ancient interpreters, of whom we took a sample of covering the directions of interpretation and its It was also for the third chapter, which dealt with the extensions of these currents in the modern era, up to the results of this study, the most important of which are summarised as follows:
-All the texts, surahs and short or long phrases in the Holy Qur’an are included in the chapter of miracles, by which the Qur’an challenged the masters of eloquence and rhetoric to bring the like of it, and from that chapter is this surah, which is the shortest suras of the Holy Qur’an.
-The texts of the Holy Qur’an, including its short texts (the Kawthar Cross), formed a fertile field for interaction with multiple readings throughout different times, because this text includes the ability to run out of, and from a renewed expressive and content energy throughout the ages embodied by interpretations and its movement that did not know stopping and annihilation.
-Surat Al-Kawthar confirmed that the mental activity of receiving it is an activity subject to many influences directed by the text to the recipient, who captures the existing references in the text according to his culture, awareness and nodal thought, which determines the paths of reading according to his dictates and cognitive controls for this trend.
Multiple readings with their external and internal directives are the product of a rich and endless text of its connotations, and any of these readings does not cancel its sister, because these readings complement each other until a total reading that is complemented by the sum of old and modern interpretive efforts.
