The College of Islamic Sciences Organizes the “Ramadan Stations” Festival to Enhance Spiritual and Academic Values

The Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, in collaboration with the Scientific Affairs Unit and the Committee for Reviving Islamic Rituals and Religious Occasions at the College of Islamic Sciences, organized the festival “Ramadan Stations: Worship – Knowledge – Creativity”, held in the Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) Hall.

The festival began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by the Dean of the College, who emphasized the significance of the holy month of Ramadan in refining the soul and strengthening students’ academic and creative values.

The event also included a scientific seminar titled “The Fragrance of Ridwan”, presented by Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib, which discussed the unique characteristics of Ramadan and its spiritual and intellectual impact on individuals.

Additionally, the festival featured a speech from a student representative and a video presentation highlighting Ramadan’s atmosphere and its importance in reinforcing both faith and academic pursuits. The event concluded with a student competition, during which prizes and certificates of appreciation were distributed among the participants in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement.

This festival is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural and academic activities that integrate religious values with academic creativity, contributing to the development of an enlightened and innovative generation.
