A Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in a Scientific Conference on the Arabic Language

Professor Dr. Bushra Hanoun, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, participated in the scientific conference organized by the Iraqi Translators Association focusing on the Arabic language. She presented a research paper addressing the challenges of written expression among middle school students.

In her study, Dr. Bushra highlighted the key difficulties students face in written expression skills, based on data collected through questionnaires distributed to Arabic language teachers at various middle schools. The research identified the root causes of these challenges and proposed several pedagogical and educational solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness and simplicity of teaching written expression.

This participation reflects the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to actively contributing to the advancement of scientific research and promoting the Arabic language within educational institutions.
