
The ministerial committee specialized in curriculum content paid a visit to the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, as part of its efforts to follow up on and evaluate the educational curricula in Iraqi universities.
The visit included a meeting with the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, in the presence of his deputies. During the meeting, mechanisms for developing the academic curricula in line with quality standards and modern scientific criteria were discussed.
The committee also conducted a field tour that covered the college’s library and all academic departments, to closely observe the academic environment and the approved educational resources. The committee emphasized the importance of enhancing scientific content to meet students’ aspirations and keep pace with the advancement of knowledge.
This visit comes as part of a series of field visits carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to assess the state of curricula and update them in accordance with labor market demands and societal needs.
