The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala achieved a remarkable accomplishment in the International Al-Noor Qur’anic Competition, as student Haidar Tai’a Mashkoor won first place at the international level, while student Saif Shakir secured second place nationally among (52) participating Iraqi universities.

This achievement is the result of the continuous efforts of the Student Activities Division and the Cultural Unit in the college, with ongoing support from the Student Activities Department – Cultural Division at the university presidency, and through effective collaboration among cultural divisions across the university’s colleges.

This accomplishment reflects the high academic and skillful level of the college’s students and highlights the active role of cultural units in nurturing and supporting student talents.
