College of Islamic Sciences Council
The Council of the College of Islamic Sciences is the supreme authority in the College. Its functions are to supervise the College and hold regular meetings or special sessions to discuss important developments, as follows:
– Recommending the approval of plans proposed by the Dean or the committees that are
formed to organize the affairs of the College and identify ways to promote the college and its
development.
– Suggesting the opening of postgraduate studies and new departments in light of the need
and availability of supplies.
– The addition of subjects that are compatible with the labour market and the need of society.
– Determining the admission requirements in undergraduate and postgraduate studies and the
number of students applying for them.
– Determination of the beginning and end of the academic year and the appointment of
semesters and their dates.
– Direct supervision of the exams by determining their time and how well they are
implemented to ensure their success.
