Introductory Information

Postgraduate studies were opened in the department in the academic year (2014-2015) with (18) students of Sharia and Islamic science. The curriculum is varied due to the diversity of Sharia science including Fiqh and its origins, Quranic studies including objective exegesis, Quranic science, analysis of Quranic text and rhetoric as well as the English language and the seminar. Through this, the department seeks to prepare an educational staff specialized in the Holy Quran and its sciences to be qualified to teach in Iraqi universities.
