The College of Islamic Sciences discusses the Qur’anic discourse in Iraqi university theses and dissertations

At the University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences, a public discussion took place for master’s student Abbas Muhammad Hashem about his thesis tagged with (The Qur’anic Discourse in Iraqi University Theses and Dissertations – a critical study). The discussion started at exactly nine o’clock on Sunday 29/8/2021 at Al-Sadiq Al-Amin Hall in the College of Islamic Sciences.

In his dissertation, the researcher relied on what was produced by the Iraqi academic system exclusively in the text of letters and theses, and we found the elements of difference and similarity in them, with an attempt to explain the reason for all of this and then study the most important components that represented the main lines that the researcher walked during his study. Those divisions were followed by the researcher in those studies.

It is worth noting that the researcher has used modern and old criticism books, letters, and dissertations related to the subject of the thesis to achieve its desired goals.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Aboud Judy Al-Hilli / University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences as Chairman. Associate Professor Dr. Raeda Mahdi Jaber / Babylon University – College of Basic Education and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yassin / Karbala University – Faculty of Islamic Sciences and Professor Dr. Muslim participated in its membership. Malik Al-Asadi / University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences – member and supervisor. The student got a very good grade.
