The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Principles, organized an awareness campaign represented by publishing educational and guidance posters within the college corridors, under the slogan “Education is Our Path to a Sustainable Future,” as part of the protection and prevention pillar.

The campaign focused on highlighting the importance of education as the foundation for the progress of societies and the main key to achieving sustainable development, due to its role in providing individuals with the knowledge and skills that enable them to protect the environment, improve economic conditions, and build a balanced and just society.

The campaign also shed light on the role of education in meeting present needs and spreading awareness about the importance of preserving natural resources and rationalizing the consumption of water and energy, as well as encouraging innovation as a means to address various challenges.

The campaign explained that education contributes to strengthening human values such as responsibility and cooperation, encouraging individuals to work together for a better future. It also emphasized that higher levels of education enhance society’s ability to address environmental and economic challenges more efficiently.
