The workshop, which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yassin and Assistant Professor Dr. Nablus Salal, dealt with several axes related to the definition of violence, its types, causes, risks, and ways to combat and reduce it.

They pointed out that the causes and factors for the emergence of this phenomenon are interrelated with each other. There are cultural reasons, political factors, and ideological motives, all together with others, that contributed to the production and generation of the phenomenon of violence. There are cognitive, social and cultural necessities, to take care of constructing accurate explanations for all human, political, cultural or economic phenomena that emerge in our reality and our societies.
