Coinciding with the birth of the Prophet’s wife, the Lady of the Women of the Worlds, Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and in celebration of this fragrant occasion, the Department of Qur’anic Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences organized an introductory party for first-year students in the presence of professors and students of the college on Tuesday 25/1/2022.

The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, then continued the ceremony with the speech of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Dhargham Al-Moussawi, welcoming the new students and recommending adherence to the regulations of the college and department, good behavior for university students, good behavior and attention to scientific lessons and ministerial instructions, wishing them success, excellence and success by overcoming all obstacles in their academic career. Then the speech of the Associate Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abboud, in which he referred to the shrines of Al-Zahra, peace be upon him. The ceremony included speeches, poetic and literary activities, and religious recitations. For the sake of this great lady, the daughter of the Messenger of God (PBUH).
