An elite group of professors of the College of Islamic Sciences in its various departments were honored by the President of Karbala University, Prof. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
The honor came on the occasion of their scientific promotion and their obtaining the title of professorship after fulfilling the requirements for scientific promotions and in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in the scientific research movement.
With the participation of the scientific and administrative assistant to the President of Karbala University, and the presence of a number of faculties’ deans, teachers and distinguished guests. Researchers and innovators, encouraging and supporting them to reach the university to the level of sober international universities in the field of scientific research, and in conclusion, the President of the University presented the Shield of Giving in appreciation of their scientific efforts.
- Prof. Dr. Dargham Karim Al-Moussawi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
- Prof. Dr. Muslim Malik Al-Asadi, Scientific Associate of the College of Islamic Sciences.
- Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abboud, the administrative assistant of the College of Islamic Sciences.
- Prof. Dr. Diaa Aziz Al-Moussawi is a teacher in the Qur’anic Studies Department.
- Prof. Dr. Nahida Jalil Al-Ghalbi is a teacher in the Qur’anic Studies Department.
- Prof. Dr. Wafaa Abbas Fayyad, teaching in the Department of Arabic Language.
- Prof. Dr. Amjad Hamid Al-Fadil is a teaching assistant in the Department of Arabic Language.
- Prof. Dr. Abdel-Baqi Abdel-Salam, teaching in the Department of Quranic Studies.
- Prof. Dr. Rafah Abdel-Hussein, teaching in the Department of Arabic Language.
The honored professors expressed their thanks and gratitude to the President of the University for his support and encouragement for science and scholars, and for his elevation towards Karbala University and urging more effort to make the scientific process successful.
