The College of Islamic Sciences participates in holding a scientific symposium with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research

The College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala participated in holding a scientific symposium with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Hussainiya Holy Shrine.

Its scientific session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nazir Jabbar Hussain Al-Hindawi from Karbala Center for Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussain Aboud Al-Tai, Associate Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences for Administrative Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Anwar Saeed Jawad Al-Haidari from the University of Baghdad, College of Islamic Sciences, lectured.

The symposium aimed to shed light on the fatwas, stances and historical fatwas of Mirza Shirazi, especially with regard to the fatwa of the Twentieth Revolution and its public role in confronting the British invasion… It is worth mentioning that this symposium is one of the symposia paving the way for the conference to be held on the personality of Sheikh Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi.
