A master’s thesis was discussed in the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala and on Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) hall (Exegetical Criticism of Sheikh Al-Tusi (d. 460 AH) in his book Al-Tibyan fi Interpretation of the Qur’an – Presentation and Analysis) by the student Khitam Alak Farhan.

The thesis seeks through its body to shed light on the phenomenon of interpretative criticism and its importance in clarifying the meanings of the Holy Qur’an. It is an extrapolation of resources, and the nature of the research necessitated that it should consist of an introductory chapter and five chapters followed by a conclusion in which the most important results reached by the researcher in her thesis were deposited.

Using the inductive-analytical method along its path by defining the place of criticism for the critical opinion, then the sheikh’s criticism of that opinion and the evidence he presented to support his criticism and study, and then follow that with the opinions of scholars and commentators so that through this it is possible to know the extent to which the Sheikh’s opinion matches with other opinions and then extract what he sees Research is closer to the truth in most of those resources in the available data.
