Within the voluntary activities aimed at advancing the educational and scientific aspect, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala received a variety of books and periodicals as a gift from the religious authority Ahmed Al-Asadi Al-Haeri before his death.

The Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Dhargham Al-Moussawi, stated that the donated books included books of interpretation, jurisprudence, hadith, doctrine, Islamic thought, philosophy and Arabic language, with approximately (2000) authors, in addition to a number of important manuscripts, which researchers and students need in their various academic stages, in addition to method books. Especially in the research field, and he added that this initiative will contribute to making scientific resources available to students with ease and reduce them the trouble of research, valuing this valuable initiative.
