The College of Islamic Sciences discusses the Qur’anic morphology in the book Al-Tibyan

A discussion took place in the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, and at the Imam Hussein Hall (peace be upon him), a master’s thesis was discussed in the book “Al-Tibyan fi Tafsir Gharib Al-Quran” by Ibn Al-Haim, 815 AH, by the student Shatha Sadiq Jaafar Jabr. The study aims to reveal the efforts of a scholar, jurist and linguist interested in the field of morphology and sound, to identify the nature of Quranic morphology and to apply its concept by addressing its examples in the book of the statement and linking the topics of morphology with sound because between these two sciences there is a strong relationship..

In her study, the researcher relied on the descriptive explanatory approach, as it constitutes a basis for the linguistic study, and its requirements include: description, analysis, and induction.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Hassan Ghazi Al-Saadi from the University of Babylon – College of Islamic Sciences – as Chairman. Prof. Dr.: Wafa Abbas Fayyad from the University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences – as a member. Prof. Dr.: Issam Kazem Shanawa from the University of Kufa – College of Basic Education as a member. Prof. Dr.: Abbas Ali Ismail – University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences – as a member and supervisor.
