The College of Islamic Sciences discusses moral damage to the family and ways to remove it

A master’s thesis tagged moral damage to the family and ways to remove it – a jurisprudential study by the student Fatima Iyad Hamza Abdul-Kadhim – was discussed in the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, and in the hall of Imam Al-Sadiq Al-Amin (PBUH). On Monday 16/1/2023

The importance of the study, which represents a step in defining and clarifying the concept, reality and position of Islamic law regarding moral harm, and the research focuses more on addressing the moral damages that occur to the family in particular, represented by the husband, wife and children, and work to find solutions and compensation through the noble Quranic verses and the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet in all possible ways.

The study relied on the inductive analytical approach in preparing the thesis, by clarifying the jurisprudential rulings on moral damages and finding solutions to them.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Dhurgham Karim Al-Musawi from Karbala University – College of Islamic Sciences – Chairman. And Prof. Dr.: Jabbar Kazem Al-Mulla from Babylon University – College of Islamic Sciences – Member. Assistant Professor Dr.: Ammar Muhammad Hussein Mohsen from the University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences, member. And Professor Dr.: Nahida Jalil Abdul Hassan – University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences – member and supervisor.
