The Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the expected Imam Mahdi, may God Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance.

The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, then the speech of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Khudair Jassem Halub, on this occasion.
This was followed by speeches by some of the department’s teachers, in which they talked about the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (pbuh) and the necessity of reviving such religious occasions that link the student to the doctrinal reality of the Islamic religion.

Some of the professors delivered poetic verses, and they are Dr. Mashkour Al-Talqani, the teacher Khaled Al-Asadi and the assistant teacher Ghaith Saadi. A speech was also delivered on the occasion by the department rapporteur, Dr. Asmaa Qassem.
