The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala holds a short essay competition

On the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the great Islamic thinker, the martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (may God be pleased with him).

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with the Foundation of the Martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr for Islamic Studies and Research, held a short essay competition for university professors and a question-answer competition for university students in one of his valuable research (sources of power in the Islamic state) at ten o’clock on Sunday, corresponding to 4/2023 16/ On the presidency hall of the University of Karbala.

The activities included the recitation of any verse from the Holy Quran, then the national anthem, and reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the righteous martyrs, and speeches by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Attia and songs for the singing group, sang the love of the martyr al-Sadr (Radha).

The activities of the competition concluded with the distribution of prizes to the participants after a lottery was held among those with complete correct answers (20/20).

The student Hussein Ali Jabr from the College of Education for Human Sciences, the student Nour Mazhar Safar from the College of Islamic Sciences, the student Zaid Muwafaq Muhammad from the College of Education, the student Hussein Majid Ali from the College of Science – Department of Chemistry, and the student Ibtihal Farhan Shallal from the College of Administration and Economics won the competition.
