The College of Islamic Sciences discussed the divine gifts in the Noble Quran

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a defense for a master’s thesis titled “Divine Gifts in the Noble Quran: A Jurisprudential Study” conducted by the student Zainab Jasim Farhan Jasim. The defense took place in Imam Hussein Hall at the college.

The researcher embarked on a study of Quranic verses related to divine gifts bestowed upon humanity, which encompassed various jurisprudential implications.

Among the important findings was that all the gifts bestowed by the Lord upon His servants are abundant, regardless of their nature, whether it be wealth, children, health, strength, the subjugation of creatures, and many others. These gifts are countless and everlasting, based on the preference of the creation and the bestowal of blessings that make them worthy of carrying the trust that they were tested with.

The defense committee consisted of Professor Dr. Maki Muhi Eidan Al-Kalabi from the University of Karbala’s College of Education as the chairperson, Professor Dr. Ra’ida Mahdi Jabr from the University of Babylon’s College of Basic Education as a member, Professor Dr. Amjad Hameed Al-Fadhil from the University of Karbala’s College of Islamic Sciences as a member, and Professor Dr. Muslim Malik Al-Asadi from the University of Karbala’s College of Islamic Sciences as a supervisor and member. The thesis was approved with distinction.
