A faculty member from the College of Islamic Sciences participated in the defense committee of a master’s thesis at Al-Kufa University.

Assistant Professor Muwahhab Saleh Mahdi from the Department of Quranic Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences participated in the public defense committee at the College of Jurisprudence at Al-Kufa University for the master’s thesis of the student Abdul Khaliq Murhab Tamkeen titled “The Arrangement of Verses and Chapters in the Quranic Text from the Perspective of Modern Reading – A Critical Analytical Study.”

The scientific committee was composed of:

  • Prof. Rauf Ahmed Al-Shammari as the Chairman
  • Assoc. Prof. Muwahhab Saleh Mahdi as a member
  • Assoc. Prof. Saad Jasim Lutfah as a member
  • Prof. Star Jabir Al-Araji as a member and supervisor

After an extensive scientific discussion, the thesis was approved.
