A doctoral dissertation entitled (Quranic Evidences in the Speech of the Companions of the Clothes (pbuh) a pilgrimage study) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language, College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala, by the student Bassem Shaalan Khadir Khalif on Wednesday 3/5/3023 and in the hall of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) in the college .

This discussion came as the first scientific discussion of a doctoral dissertation in the history of the college after the introduction of the doctoral study.

The researcher pointed out that the Quranic discourse, like all other discourses, aims to influence and win over the recipient, so he pleads to achieve this through a number of various strategies, from which al-Hajjaj does not come out at all. Rather, the Book of God Almighty is almost inspired by the pillars of pilgrims in a pivotal way, since its main purpose is to achieve an influential and persuasive power.
The study used the argumentative approach of Berman and Decro, with the modification of some of its mechanisms to be compatible with the Arab knowledge system.

The study concluded a number of results, including:
1- The ties of kinship between the pilgrims and the deliberative are very strong, and there are many common points and many intersections, which allow their merging in different places, and allow the individualization of a stand-alone type of pilgrims called the deliberative pilgrims.
2- The pilgrims ultimately serve the textual context in which it was employed, in addition to its logical persuasive power, the unique and high reference status of its source for the recipient, and its exciting position in itself, which is here the Holy Qur’an, where this status doubled, and the high tribal influence of the source of the witness in The recipient has the persuasive argumentative ability of the discourse, and facilitates his task in directing the addressee towards certain predetermined behaviors.
