A faculty member from the College of Islamic Sciences participates in the First International Conference of the Holy Abbasid Shrine

Dr. Alaa Abdullah Abbas Al-Dhahi, a faculty member from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the First International Conference organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Abbasid Shrine, Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs, Al-Sadiqeen Center, and the Scientific and Intellectual Dean Association.

The conference was held during the First International Imamate Week at Al-Imam University under the theme “Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein (peace be upon them) in Their Actions and Sayings.”

The research presented was titled “Content Analysis of Dua Arafa for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the Light of Linguistic Structure and Educational Values.” It aimed to uncover the linguistic implications and educational values of certain words and structures in Dua Arafa for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) through content analysis and description. The research consisted of three chapters and a conclusion highlighting the main findings. The first chapter addressed the research problem, its importance, objectives, scope, methodology, and definition of terms. The second chapter provided the theoretical background and previous studies. The third chapter analyzed Dua Arafa in light of linguistic structure and educational values.
