Dr. Hamid Jasim Al-Gharabi, a faculty member from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated with a research paper in the First International Imamate Week Conference organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Abbasid, the Department of Islamic and Humanitarian Knowledge Affairs, the Al-Sadiqeen Center, and the Scholarly and Intellectual Al-Ameed Association. The paper was titled “Imam Mahdi: The Divine Justice of the Promised One.”
The research focused on the signatures of the holy shrine, their jurisprudence, and their implications, studying both the terminology and the chain of narration. It shed light on the lexicographical meaning of the terms “signatures” and “holy shrine” and examined the consideration given by jurists to these signatures for deduction, their number, the importance of their collection, and the types and reasons for their appearance.
