Elections for the representative of the Iraqi Academics Union were held at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala in the presence of the Dean, Professor Dr. Dhirgham Al-Mousawi, along with the academic and administrative deputies, representatives of the Academics Union, heads of scientific departments, and faculty members of the college.

After counting the votes, the supervising committee announced the victory of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tarfi to be a member and representative of the academics in the College’s Council and the Academics Union. The attendees extended their congratulations and best wishes for his new position. Al-Tarfi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to those present.
