The College of Islamic Sciences at Karbala University discusses the concept of "Taskeer" (utilization) in the Holy Quran.

A Master’s thesis titled “The Law of Utilization in the Holy Quran – An Analytical Study” was discussed at the College of Islamic Sciences, Karbala University. The thesis was presented by student Mayada Wael Abbas Hussein in the Imam Hussein (AS) Hall at the college.

The researcher mentioned in her thesis that the Holy Quran guides us to our great mission in this universe by connecting the various elements and entities, from the smallest particles to the vast galaxies, including human beings. These interconnected relationships and regular exchanges between entities and humans have led to a stronger bond known as “Taskeer” (utilization). It is essential for humans to understand this relationship and uncover its driving laws in order to attain a deeper understanding of the movement of the universe and life itself, by revealing the patterns and understanding the underlying causes within the utilized entities. This extensive series of relationships, when closed off, renders any value for existence unimaginable, as every entity is brought forth to manifest its existence, capabilities, and unique characteristics that distinguish it from other creatures.

The thesis defense committee consisted of the following members:
