The Library Division of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a training course titled “Book Indexing and Classification according to the Dewey Decimal System” for a duration of three days.

The aim of the course, which targeted the committee responsible for inventorying books in the library, was to familiarize participants with book classification based on the variety of sources available in the library. It covered topics such as indexing books according to the Dewey system, digitally cataloging all books on the computer, and facilitating the process of searching for sources.

It is worth mentioning that the course was presented by Ms. Anis Abdulqadir Kazem, Ms. Rabab Hassan Mohammed, and Zaid Abdul-Mahdi Ziad.
