The Department of Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Law at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, organized a memorial ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the great Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The religious gathering began with the recitation of verses from the Noble Quran, followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Majid Saad. In his speech, he highlighted the noble biography of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, discussing her life and the injustices she faced throughout her honorable life.

Students from the department also recited elegies and poems mourning the loss of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

This event is part of the college’s programs aimed at commemorating the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) and highlighting the role of the infallibles in building an enlightened Islamic society.
