Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basim Al-Saadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Tai, the fifth football sports championship for all departments of the college kicked off in a league format.

The championship is held under the slogan “The Martyr Amir Shahid Championship” and took place at the fields of the College of Humanities Education. In the opening match, the team of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals won (4) due to the absence of their opponent. In the second match, the team of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education defeated the team of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals (2) with a score of 4-2.

It is worth mentioning that this championship is part of the university’s annual sports activities. The championship is ongoing, and this beginning signifies the development of various aspects of sports activities.
