The College of Islamic Sciences discusses the expressive implications of bodily verses in the Quran

At the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, a thesis defense was held in the Al-Sadiq Al-Amin (AS) Hall titled ‘Expressive Implications of Bodily Verses in the Holy Quran – An Objective Study’ by the student Duaa Jabbar Ubaid.

The significance of the topic lies in its connection between the Holy Quran and humanity, particularly in how the Quran expresses human beings, especially concerning bodily verses. The primary aim of the thesis was to understand the implicit meanings behind the movements of human body parts in the Quran and to elucidate the nobility of Islamic law in dealing with humans.

Additionally, the thesis delved into the magnificence of the Creator and His miraculous ability in creating humans, elucidating the rhetorical secrets contained within this creation by explaining the benefits of human body parts and the potential of each organ to perform various functions.

By employing a variety of methodologies, including inductive, descriptive, analytical, and critical approaches, the thesis formed an integrated methodology.
