Quranic Studies Department Hosts Discussion on Women’s Roles

The Department of Quranic Studies and Islamic Education at the College of Islamic Sciences held a discussion titled “The Masculinization of Women and Its Negative Effects on Marital Life – An Islamic Perspective.”

Assistant Lecturer Hasan Abdulhadi Rashid led the session, providing a comprehensive definition of this concept, including its cultural and religious implications. He addressed family challenges arising from this phenomenon within the framework of Islamic values, focusing on issues posed by some Western feminist organizations promoting extreme gender equality, and its impact on innate identities and social roles.
