The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a discussion for the PhD dissertation titled “Nur al-Tawfiq wa Kashf Tadiq” by Mulla Mohsen bin Muhammad Tahir al-Qazwini, from verse (142) of Surah Al-Baqarah to verse (203) – Study and Verification, presented by the student Lamis Khudair Abbas Mahmoud.

This study is based on the verification of the Quranic interpretation and its scientific, objective study, focusing on identifying the most important methodologies used by the interpreter.

The study aims to shed light on this interpretation and provide a valuable scientific source for the academic library, highlighting its scientific value and comprehensive, objective approach according to the principles set by Mulla Mohsen al-Qazwini in his interpretation.

This study has yielded diverse results, revealing the depth of Mulla Mohsen al-Qazwini’s knowledge and his exploration of various sciences, which is evident in this interpretation and his profound thought. It also demonstrated the scientific significance of this interpretation, showcasing his creativity in explaining Quranic meanings and interpretive nuances. Furthermore, it became clear that Mulla Mohsen al-Qazwini’s efforts in interpretation were significant, as the pages of this exegesis are filled with opinions, discussions, and exegetical responses reflecting an intelligent, distinguished, and precise mind.
