The Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, organized a training course titled “Employing Digital Libraries in Research and Scientific Studies.” The course was conducted by Assistant Lecturer Ali Jafar Hassan and Assistant Lecturer Jaafar Sadiq Wahab.
The course aimed to shed light on the advancement of electronic libraries to meet learners’ needs, highlighting their positive impact in providing advanced and suitable information services for learners. These services include quick access to information, which traditional libraries could not offer, emphasizing the significant role digital libraries play for both users and publishers.
The course covered the types of information resources provided by digital libraries for teachers and learners, and it discussed some of the issues related to the use of electronic libraries in education. The course concluded with a practical model enabling students to effectively use electronic libraries.
