The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a discussion for the master’s thesis titled:
“The Concept of Relief in the Holy Qur’an – A Thematic Study”, presented by Hamza Samir Mohammed Abdullah, in the presence of a specialized examination committee.

The thesis explored the concept and semantic dimensions of relief in the Qur’an, highlighting its role in understanding the relationships and dualities that shape the conceptual and practical principles of Qur’anic expressions. The study aimed to uncover the different aspects of relief as presented in the Qur’anic text in relation to human capacity.

The examination committee praised the research for its academic significance, recognizing it as a serious scholarly endeavor to delve into this concept. The study was commended for its analytical approach, which examined the various meanings and relationships of relief, relying on the methodological principle that concepts are often understood in contrast to their opposites.
