Abstract

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the best of messengers, Muhammad, his pure and good family, and his chosen companions until the Day of Judgment. And after….
Arabic manuscripts are part of the nation’s heritage, and reviving them is a scientific necessity, because they are a document of the civilization of the Arab nation, especially what is related to it in linguistic studies at all levels; Because it adds a great legacy to libraries that is passed down between generations, and from the hidden pearls of the treasures of Arabic is what Al-Hamdani (1305 AH) from the scholars of the thirteenth century wrote his book entitled (Kings of Speech in Collecting What Happened Between Us and the People of Understanding) in which he explained the arts of the language from phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics and interpretation. From reviewing and reading this book, the researcher was provided with the scientific abundance that this book included in various sciences, arts and literature, so she decided to delve into its investigation and study to draw from the abundance of its knowledge and commitment to the scientific method. The research came in two parts, the first of which is the study and it has two chapters, dividing it into the first chapter: the author and the work, and it has three topics, the first topic: the author, a study of the origin and biography, as for the second topic: it was entitled the book Kings of Speech, a descriptive study, and the third topic: its rhetorical pauses, as for the second chapter: I presented linguistic topics and divided it into four topics The first: morphological phonetic issues, the second: grammatical issues, the third: methods of linguistic interpretation, and the fourth: his linguistic efforts. As for the second section: it was for investigation and included the investigation method, a description of the copies adopted in the investigation, pictures of the manuscript, and the investigated text (Kings of Speech). The researcher concluded her research with a conclusion that included the results she reached and a list of the index of sources and references.
