The College of Islamic Sciences Holds an Educational Workshop on the Pedagogical Methods of the Prophet (PBUH) and His Ahl al-Bayt (AS)

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held an educational workshop titled:
“The Pedagogical Methods of the Prophet (PBUH) and His Pure Progeny (AS).”
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturers Abdulsalam Al-Mousawi and Hassan Abdulhadi.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the most prominent educational approaches derived from the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and his purified Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), focusing on raising children according to the principles of mercy and balance.

It addressed several educational directives found in the Prophet’s biography and the sayings of the Ahl al-Bayt, including the Prophet’s saying:
“Do not discipline your child while you are angry,” and
“Do not strike him; avoid him, but do not prolong it.”
The presenters emphasized the significance of these teachings in shaping a child’s personality and nurturing their behavior through humane and non-violent methods.

The workshop witnessed wide interaction from the attendees, who enriched the discussion with their questions and contributions. This enhanced understanding of the educational values inspired by the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and his family, giving the session a fruitful scholarly and pedagogical character.
