As part of ongoing efforts to elevate academic performance and ensure the quality of university education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rahi Al-Zaidi, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala, participated in the meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for updating the implementation mechanism of the teaching qualification exam.

The meeting, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Hazem Abdul-Razzaq, Director General of the Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-Up, discussed the development of precise standards for evaluating the qualification exam and defining the professional and academic criteria for the committees administering it.

The meeting was marked by the presentation of developmental insights and practical proposals aimed at enhancing the competence of new university instructors and reinforcing scientific rigor within Iraq’s higher education system.
