Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Adel Sahib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, participated in the public discussion of a master’s thesis submitted by the student Qasim Ta’mah Noor in the Department of Quranic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Babylon. The thesis was titled: “The Grammatical Efforts of Ibn Jama’ah (d. 733 AH) in his Book Sharh al-Kifayah by Ibn al-Hajib (d. 646 AH),” and the discussion took place in the building of the college’s deanery.
The discussion committee consisted of:
- Professor Dr. Haider Fakhri Miran (Chair)
- Assistant Professor Dr. Hamid Badr Abdul-Hussein (Member)
- Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Adel Sahib (Member)
- Professor Dr. Ahmed Kazem Amash (Member and Supervisor)
The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, his administrative and academic assistants, along with a number of faculty members and students. After a thorough scientific discussion, the thesis was awarded a grade of “Good-High.”
This academic activity represents a significant contribution to the College of Islamic Sciences’ journey in supporting scientific research and actively participating in the evaluation of academic outputs at Iraqi universities.
