Abstract
The thesis dealt with the interpretive choices of Sayyid Abdul A’la al-Sabzwari, who is considered one of the people of prestigious scientific, jurisprudential and religious status because he is considered an imam for the mujtahids, a sheikh for the jurists, a role model for the Sufis and a great scholar around whom many students of knowledge gathered, and he assumed religious leadership. Although he was constantly busy with the process of writing and teaching, and his book (Mawahib al-Rahman) is considered a large jurisprudential encyclopedia, through which he followed the method and path that Sayyid Abdul A’la al-Sabzwari (may God sanctify his secret) took in interpreting the Qur’an by relying on and relying on the preferential methods and formulas and the preferential aspects adopted in interpretations and deducing that from the Holy Qur’an and what was narrated from the Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and the consensus of scholars on preferring some sayings and what was issued from them in general terms, by limiting the verses that included preferring a saying or meaning that the scholars of interpretation differed in interpreting, and then presenting evidence for each saying, and then preferring the preferred saying. It is a study that includes a summary of what the interpreters differed about in a scientific way that shows the reader what God intended by the verse, and saves him the trouble of searching in the main interpretations until he reaches the meaning of the verse in a concise manner based on correct evidence, God willing, and studying those interpretations in a comparative study with other interpretations to reach the closest statements when searching in such interpretations. The thesis reached many results, including that Professor Abdul A’la Al-Sabzwari made great efforts in his interpretation of the book (Mawahib Al-Rahman according to the objective method) according to the objective method and in interpreting the verses of rulings, as his interpretation was distinguished by its comprehensiveness, but he was creative and brief in explaining the verses of rulings by referring the reader to his book (Muhadhdhab Al-Ahkam), and that he was also interested in interpreting the transmitted through the evidence of the Qur’an from the Qur’an as well as the Sunnah of the Infallible (peace be upon him), and that he was also interested in issues that concern semantic structures whether related to letters or meanings, and he is credited with invalidating major theories such as the theories of the Mu’tazila in the agency of the self and the theories of the Ash’aris in the addition of attributes to the self, and that Professor Abdul A’la Al-Sabzwari discussed the narrations related to the reasons for revelation as they apply to every individual and at different times, and therefore they are not limited or restricted to a specific source.
