Abstract
There is no doubt that the science of jurisprudence is the best and best of sciences, and it is the essence and fruit of the Islamic sciences, because through it the divine rulings that God Almighty has bestowed upon His servants are known, and through which He established the system of their livelihood and provision for their individuals and groups, and it is the practical guidance to which the Noble Qur’an calls, which there is no doubt as a guidance for the righteous
The study aims to shed light on the efforts of front-line jurists in deductive jurisprudence. In order for those who came after them to recognize the great efforts they made, through exploration and inspection of their heritage and writings, what was chosen was to study and verify the manuscript (Tuhfat al-Rida) by Sayyid (Mu’izz al-Din Muhammad bin Abi al-Hasan al-Musawi), one of the notables of the eleventh century AH
The thesis was divided into two parts, the first was in studying the manuscript, and it was divided into two chapters, the first of which was to shed light on the author and his author, by mentioning his name and lineage, his teachers and students, his writings, what scholars said about him, and the date of his death, and the second chapter was to explain the disputed issues. According to the jurists, what the author mentioned in his masterpiece are the introductions to prayer that included the daily numbers, timings, the qiblah, dress, place, the call to prayer and the iqama, as well as the comparisons that included the intention, the takbirat al-Ihram, standing, reading, bowing, prostrating, tashahhud, and salutations, with an explanation. The most correct opinion according to Al-Sayyid Al-Moussawi, and the second section is about verifying the manuscript
The results of the study were that the manuscript (Tuhfat al-Rida) is considered one of the valuable jurisprudential works related to one of the branches of religion, which is (prayer). It was divided into twelve chapters by mentioning the issues agreed upon by the jurists, along with their evidence for them. The author also mentioned in it the sources of disagreement contained between the sayings of the jurists. Then he touched on mentioning their evidence and giving preference to what he points to, which makes this inferential jurisprudential book important and of great benefit.
