
Professor Dr. Haider Shalal Mutib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated in the defense of a master’s thesis at Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies in Najaf Al-Ashraf. The thesis, titled:
“Trends of Television Programs Toward Sustainable Development Issues”
was presented by student Maryam Mubarak.
The defense committee included a distinguished group of specialized professors:
- Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Majeed
- Professor Dr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Shafei
- Professor Dr. Kamel Al-Qayem
The session featured an in-depth academic discussion on the media role of television programs in highlighting issues related to sustainable development. Dr. Haider Shalal Mutib provided valuable scientific observations that enriched the defense proceedings.
