A number of students from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala took part in the final Quranic gathering of the “Prince of Reciters” national project, which marked the culmination of three intensive training phases. The ceremony was held in a highly spiritual atmosphere and included academic recognition for outstanding students in performance and excellence.

The event took place within the project’s premises and was attended by a distinguished Quranic audience. It featured a variety of individual and group recitations that highlighted the students’ development in tajweed and vocal performance. Participants from different academic levels presented various recitation styles, including imitations of the classical Quranic schools such as those of Sheikh Abdul Fattah Al-Sha’sha’i and Sheikh Abu Al-Eynain Sha’eesha’, in addition to authentic Iraqi vocal traditions.

Students from the College of Islamic Sciences stood out with their active presence and high level of discipline, demonstrating excellence in both academic and Quranic fields. Several students earned perfect scores, while others exceeded expectations with performance ratings surpassing 100%, reflecting their ability to balance university studies with intensive Quranic training.
