As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance environmental and aesthetic aspects, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala continues its landscaping activities and cultivation of vacant areas within the college, despite the significant rise in summer temperatures.

These efforts are carried out under the direct supervision and follow-up of the college’s Agricultural Unit, which is working diligently to maintain and expand green spaces—guided by a belief in the importance of environmental sustainability and its positive impact on the college environment and academic atmosphere.

Current activities include tree pruning, garden cleaning, irrigation, and planting new types of heat-resistant plants, all aimed at preserving ecological balance and improving the overall appearance of the university campus.
